Herman Mulder (Chair)
Herman Mulder is the chair of True Price. In addition, he was a former Director-General, Head of Group Risk Management at ABN AMRO Bank (1998-2006) and Head of Global Structured Finance (1995-1998). He was the initiator of the Equator Principles (2002/2003.
After his retirement from ABN AMRO Bank in 2006, he was, inter alia, Board Member (2007-2014) and Chairman (2011-2013) of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Board member of Utz Certified (certification coffee, cocoa, tea). He was an independent member of the Dutch National Contact Point for the OECD MNE Guidelines (2007 – October 2016).
He is currently a Fellow at Nyenrode Business University (focusing on “Making Business and Markets fit for Sustainable and Responsible Purpose”), co-founder and Chairman of True Price Foundation, Chairman of the (multi-stakeholder) SDG Charter Coalition Foundation, board member of the Human Cities Coalition, Worldconnectors, and a member of the TEEB Advisory Board (The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity); he is ambassador of the IIRC (integrated reporting). He is currently leading an SDG-related initiative by the Dutch financial sector on i.a. blended finance.
He was mentioned among “the 100 most influential people in finance” by the US Treasury and Risk Magazine (July 2007). He is (since 2005) a Knight in the Order of Oranje-Nassau.
André Veneman is corporate Director of Sustainability at AkzoNobel ánd chair of the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH). Originally a medical doctor, André has worked at AkzoNobel since 1999, where he set up the sustainability department. He participates on behalf of AkzoNobel in the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the World Resources Institute. André is also a Worldconnector.
Zita Schellekens is Public Affairs Consultant at HEINEKEN. She is responsible for international ‘thought leadership’ strategy, working with organizations such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Clinton Global Initiative. In addition, she is responsible for Public and Governmental Affairs in Africa and coordinates the HEINEKEN CSR programs on the continent. Previously, Zita was Political Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Trade and Spokeswoman during the Senate & Provincial elections for the PvdA. Zita is also a member of the Worldconnectors.
Fokko Wientjes is Director Corporate Sustainability at DSM. He is also Program Director of the largest PPP of DSM, with UN World Food Program. In addition, Fokko acts as DSM liaison with the World Economic Forum and the World Business Council on Sustainable Development. Wientjes is also on the Sustainability Advisory Board of SNS Reaal and on the International Advisory Board of the Maastricht University School of Business & Economics.
Angelica Ortiz de Haas
Angelica Ortiz de Haas is Manager of Sustainability Development at FMO, the Dutch development bank that invests in the private sector in developing countries. As a banker she has experience in the structured finance area in Asia and Latin America. Currently, she focuses on innovation and corporate strategy to turn sustainability into business opportunities for clients to drive value in the long and short term, and manages stakeholder dialogue with NGOs, governmental and partner institutions.
Charles Evers (Treasurer)
Charles Evers is (interim) CFO and Consultant, currently executive board member at Atrium Medical Center Heerlen. From 1981-2002 Charles worked at Unilever, first specializing in Finance and Control, after which he became Vice President in Unilever’s Food Division, setting up a new global strategy for margarine and oil, and leading the worldwide transition from regional to global sourcing and purchasing of raw and packaging materials. After that, Charles was Corporate Controller at Schiphol Group and executive Board member of the Hospital Medisch Centrum Haaglanden.
Jasper de Jong (Secretary)
Jasper de Jong is corporate lawyer at Allen & Overy LLP in Amsterdam. He specializes in M&A, joint ventures and corporate governance, and has a sector focus on private equity, the petrochemical industry and the financial sector. Jasper has worked for Allen & Overy since 2005, of which one year at the Dubai Office. Jasper also acts as mentor at the Giving Back foundation.
